*Please Note: Travel grants will be awarded competitively only to those individuals or groups that submit a pilot project proposal by February 15. Winners of the travel grants will be announced by March 15. The proposals will be developed in collaborative working groups at the Summer Institute. Those who wish to attend but who do not submit a proposal are welcome to come, but will need to request a registration form and cover the costs of travel, lodging and meals from their own funding sources.*

All participants (except for CIREH employees) will be staying at the Hotel Melody


Program Now Available

Program Format
The program will be presented in two sessions:

June 1-2 will include focused professionalization
sessions and collaborative working groups
structured around proposal development, for invited
participants only.

June 2-3 will be an open scientific meeting including
international speakers, web-based presentations, and
 panel presentations and discussions.

 Topic Areas will include:
•    “Healthy Cities”                    
•    Traffic and bicycle injury prevention       
•    Health inequalities
•    Air and water quality
•    Occupational health and safety
•    Land use decisions and urban planning
•    …and more…
